Ramon R. Teleron

Ramon R. Teleron obtained his degree of Bachelor of Arts, major in Political Science, at the Silliman University in Dumaguete City. He proceeded to take up Law at the Ateneo de Manila University School of Law where he graduated in 1976 and passed the Bar Examinations given in the same year.

He started his career as a Labor Arbitration Analyst at the central office of the National Labor Relations Commission. He left the government service after a brief stint, and joined the law firm of Pacis Reyes & De Leon as an associate where he was assigned to do litigation. He was likewise made to specialize in banking and corporate law practice.

He later left private law practice to join the corporate world. He was employed into various corporations as its in-house counsel where he was exposed to complex corporate assignments and personnel management. He became the General Counsel of the Philippine Phosphate Fertilizer Corporation, a corporation which was formed through a joint venture between the Philippines and the Republic of Nauro, where he handled export and import transactions, taxation, customs and tariff laws, negotiations with the labor union for collective bargaining agreement, and numerous corporate assignments. Said corporation was the largest single investment of the Republic of Nauro.

He later moved to Cebu City to return to private law practice and eventually joined the Law Firm. His practice is in the field of civil and criminal litigation, labor and election laws and corporate transactions.
